I first met Abdulle Ibrahim Yare in Dadaab complex, home to 500,000 refugees, two years ago at the height of the famine in Somalia. He and his family, along with thousands of others, had trekked for days to Kenya in search of food and safety.
I first met Abdallah Ibrahim Yare in Dadaab complex, home to 500,000 refugees, two years ago at the height of the famine in Somalia. He and his family, along with thousands of others, had trekked for days to Kenya in search of food and safety. On route, his wife died of starvation. She had given whatever food she had to her children.
