In January, the International Rescue Committee introduced readers to Hassan Omar Ibrahim, a Somali who was forced to flee his home in the village of Qoryooley due to the famine and was living at the Carafat camp, in Galkayo, Somalia. After finding work, Hassan’s thoughts turned immediately to reuniting with his wife Hamaro and their six children.
