The IRC has built temporary learning centers for nearly 30,000 Burundian primary and secondary children aged 3-17 sheltering in the Nyarugusu refugee camp in Tanzania.
Young children scurry down dusty roads on their way to school, eager to learn. Although they and their families have been crammed into an already overcrowded refugee camp here in northwestern Tanzania, they continue to study and learn, thanks to the International Rescue Committee.
