The IRC is continuing to respond to widespread flooding in Myanmar that the United Nations says has displaced more than 1.7 million people. IRC mobile health teams and water and sanitation experts are working urgently to provide medical care, clean water and other emergency support in isolated communities.

The International Rescue Committee is continuing to respond to widespread flooding in Myanmar that the United Nations says has displaced more than 1.7 million people. Torrential downpours spawned by Cyclone Komen in late July, compounded by seasonal monsoon rains, created a monster deluge that has pushed south across 12 of Myanmar's 14 states.
