Ronel Metelus, 43, lost his home in the 2010 Haiti earthquake and is now living with his family in a camp in the capital Port-au-Prince. He shares his story in "Hidden Lives: The Untold Story of Urban Refugees."
As urbanization continues apace, an increasing proportion of natural disasters will affect people living in some of the world's largest cities. The 2010 Haiti earthquake affected an estimated 3 million people, forcing 1.5 million to live in one of the 1,300 settlement sites set up throughout Port-au-Prince following the disaster.
 
Ronel Metelus, 43, lost his home to the quake and is now living in Camp Mina, in Port-au-Prince.
