BUJUMBURA, April 29, 2015 — Over the weekend Burundi descended into violence and chaos just hours after President Nkurunziza announced that he would be running for a third term in the upcoming elections scheduled for June. Those claiming that the candidacy is unconstitutional have taken to the streets in protest clashing with his supporters and police.
