The IRC and its local partner organizations will have reached some 90,000 families in Syria, Northern Iraq, Jordan and Turkey—including some 350,000 Syrians displaced inside their country.
Hundreds of thousands of people displaced by conflicts inside Syria and Iraq are receiving winter emergency kits from the International Rescue Committee to help them survive the cold weather hitting the region. Many have sought shelter from the violence in makeshift camps, where they are living in tents, or in vacant or unfinished buildings. Most families fled with little to no supplies.
