We are devastated by the staggering loss of life, the vast majority of whom were schoolchildren, and our thoughts and deepest sympathies go out to all those who lost loved ones in the brutal attack. There is absolutely no justification for the targeting of civilians, and it is imperative that the safety and security of those seeking education is never compromised.”
