Breastfeeding is not technological. It’s not a pill. And it is certainly not new. It is, however, the most effective way to reduce the death of children compared to any other public health intervention.

Breastfeeding is not technological. It’s not a pill. And it is certainly not new. It is, however, the most effective way to reduce the death of children compared to any other public health intervention. Improvements in breastfeeding would prevent the deaths of 800,000 children a year. Evidence reviews have identified exclusive breastfeeding as the most effective intervention to decrease child mortality.
