The Global Summit to End Sexual Violence in Conflict saw 1,700 participants, 129 governments and over 1,000 experts, civil society and international organisations come together. Under the #TimetoAct social campaign, it achieved global and unprecedented attention to this issue. Grassroots and civil society organisations emphasised that while we’ve been talking about the gaps of GBV programmes in emergencies for years now, we continue to struggle in this lifesaving endeavour.
