Life in Iraq for Bushra Naji was a nightmare. She thought if she stayed in the country, her children would either be killed or kidnapped. Bushra fled to Syria in 2006 where she was admitted as a refugee. In 2008, Bushra and her family were resettled to the U.S. by the International Rescue Committee, where she now works as a direct response phone representative.
