When 46-year-old Nasra arrived in Zaatari refugee camp with her husband, Ahmad, they were weary from the long journey from Syria and the tragedies that plagued them during their escape. Two of Ahmad’s sons from his first marriage were killed in the fighting in Daraa, and Ahmad lost his leg.
