The IRC and 54 other aid groups working in South Sudan say they have been deeply alarmed at the scale of human suffering seen in the country in the past six weeks, and so welcome the recent cease fire agreement between the government of South Sudan and opposition forces.
The International Rescue Committee and 54 other major aid organizations in South Sudan have issued a statement expressing their deep concern about the current humanitarian situation in the country and reaffirming their commitment to help all civilian populations in need of assistance.
