The numbers of children affected by the Syrian crisis are almost impossible to fathom: over three million inside Syria, more than one million living in exile in neighboring countries. Most have experienced or witnessed horrific violence. They have lost loved ones, and they will bear the emotional and physical scars of war for the rest of their lives.
